I'm a big fan of being able to dodge/parry attacks and counter attack with a successful parry like in Dark Souls and I'm wondering if there's any consideration into having that as an option in this game?

I think being able to deflect attacks to reduce damage taken is a fun mechanic, imagine a very hard hitting ability that you're slowed and unable to escape the radius of so you deflect the attack to take less damage.

I also think being able to absorb an attack like say with a blood shield/barrier is a fun idea, think of the death knight in WoW with their blood shields.

I also think being able to reflect magic with a timed skilled ability is a fun mechanic that could have a heavy resource cost or long cool down. It could even be balanced around a very short window to prevent players from abusing the ability.
