After reading the writeup for the Wraith, regarding them being the assassins of DeadHaus, I was wondering if stealth will be a legitimate tactic in gameplay? If so, just how in-depth do you intend to make it?

Keep it simple with just staying out of view and lurking in the shadows? Or have alternate routes and hidden paths for creeping around enemies? Even have abilities that cater to remaining hidden?

Will stealth be limited to certain Classes? Or could a hulking Revenant (almost unrealistically, yet hilariously) try tip-toeing passed some guards?

How would you intend to animate the various undead sneaking about?

A number of questions, yes (sorry), but they all fall under the same subject.

Good question. This was something we had asked a few times already, and the reply then was that stealth is a bit too apart from the fast-paced combat they intend the game to have and it would be counter-intuitive to have stealth gameplay mid-combat. However, that doesn't mean there won't be stealth-related skills (such as invisibility or disguises) that may be used in specific operations, such as quests that involve invasions or military intelligence.

In any case, if they do create stealth in some level, it will probably be limited (or directed by) each class' specifics. That is, a hulking Revenant will not be able to tip-toe past people, but a Vampire may be able to disguise himself as a human to gather information, or a Wraith may become invisible to traverse walls, reach and assassinate particular individuals.

Seems like with asymmetric gameplay, it should be possible to have both, but maybe I'm missing something.

You can technically stealth kill and move around fast in Assasssin Creed depending on your build, You can also stealth play on Warframe (if you get detected you face more enemies, they see you they start the alarms, and you have to kill officers which disables the enemies to start the alarm).

Warframe is pretty fast-paced and its stealth does work there but it does feel rather simple and basic, but that's not because being fast-paced I think it's because it is barebones in terms of gameplay and overall content.
